My thesis film from Chapman University.
At 21 years old, I won a grant from Eastman Kodak for my short script
about a boy and his slave during the Civil War.
I was deeply fortunate to direct the award-winning film on 35mm with a full crew, dozens of historical reenactors, horses, canons, rifles, and of course, the star of the show, real SNOW!
25 years later, I updated the original audio and restored the film from its 480p Beta SP transfer to a
4k digital telecine capture of the original theater print.
